When the new swimming hall is up and running, there will be free land from where the old swimming hall was once located. In an attractive location in the district of Haga, around 400 homes could be built. The area is optimal for small apartments, and is situated directly adjacent to the city centre, with around 1.5 km to the city centre. Sports, events, university campus and shops are within a few hundred meters and the area has great access to public transport links. Detailed planning is underway. Access to land is expected to be available in late 2016. The purpose of the detailed plan is to create flat rate conditions for housing within the area. The aim is also to look at the development area from a holistic perspective based on the new plan. The area is located in Gammliavallen, where the swimming pool is today.
