Borgaregatans skola was fully renovated during the academic year 2012-2013. As a part of this process solar panels (106 in all) were installed on the roof of the building, covering an area of approximately 100 square metres. The electricity production is about 15 000 kWh/year. This covers about 5 % of the school´s energy need per year. The total gain after the renovation is approx. 17 000EUR per year thanks to the following measures: * more efficient ventilation with frequency inverters based on the needs of a room * new lighting * use of Wise * more efficient property technique * new windows and doors * upper joists renewed * outer walls partly renewed
