Umeå Energi supplies district heating and cooling, as well as electricity and broadband. We produce electricity with wind power and in two combined heat and power plants, and sell power to about 58 000 private and business customers across the country. Umeå Energi AB is a wholly owned subsidiary of Umeå Kommunföretag (UKF), which in turn is owned by the Municipality of Umeå. Umeå Energi AB owns all shares in the subsidiaries Umeå Energi Elhandel AB, Umeå Energi Elnät AB, Umeå Energi UmeNet AB, Umeå Energi Sol, Vind & Vatten AB and is the majority sharholder in the subsidiarie BioEndev AB.
